This is a 1972 Honda CB350F with only 6,431 miles. Clean Virginia title in my name. The first owner passed in 1987. The bike sat and I purchased this from a person who got it from the family estate sale in May 2010 and he put it on eBay the same month. The bike sat for about 23 years. The exhaust was bad and I replaced it with a new MAC 4 to one. The fork covers were in poor shape and removed. Forks then buffed and painted black above the working surface and new fork caps added like the larger CB models have. Forks were rebuilt with new seals and oil. New headlight ears added. New All Balls steering bearings installed. Mirrors are new OEM and are the grips. The handlebars have some pitting. Clutch and point covers are new OEM. New O-Ring chain replaced the old one. Front and rear tires are new Dunlap’s with new tubes. There is some surface rust on a small number of spokes. The rear finder was pitted, so we polished the best we could and we sprayed the rear light and license plate holder black. All metal is solid. Top of the shocks were polished but still show pitting as do the tops of the turn signals. Seat is in remarkable shape with no tears and light wear for being over 40 years old. The carburetors were rebuilt by wiredgeorge Motorcycle Carburetors (www.wgcarbs.com/). This took 13 months and if you know their work, these carbs are museum pieces. Pictures don’t give them justice. Tank has one dent on the right side and one on the top left and some staining. Inside is in very good shape. Cap and lock work like new. Fresh oil and filters serviced. The right battery cover is faded on the top. I have been very critical of the bike, since you have to rely on this description and I try to give everything I see. Runs and drives very well, clutch and gears are solid. Will make for a good investment, starter bike, and daily driver.
