1978 IH Scout II. This Scout runs good but will not pass California smog. Needs Windshield,tires and other cosmetic work. No Major body work needed. There is a small dent by the gas filler and a little rust around the rear wheel wells. This is by no means a show truck and needs small things. needs either a new steering column (Chevy) or the wire harness that goes up the column in order for the brake lights and blinkers to work. It still steers just fine. All other lights work. I have a new ignition switch with keys but it also needs the wires replaced to work. However I have installed an after market ignition in the spot where the lighter goes. in the last month I have replaced all fuel lines and fuel pump. I also did an oil change last week. It has AC but I was going to remove it so I removed the control bar from the under dash. I will put this back on and the buyer can decide whether he/she wants to keep it. The floor pans are solid with no rot. It has a 345 IH engine. Has original Owners Manual Is on Non-OP so no back fees with DMV. If you want this shipped you will have to make ALL arrangements. This would make a great Crawler or restore. Restored I have seen these sell for $10,000 plus. I have added two more pictures of the only real rust on this thing. If Buy It Now is used I will knock $150 off for the windshield!
