Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1973 Jeep Commando (last year the commando was made). It was a fram off resto. The frame and underside were sand blasted and covered in pour 15 to avoid ever rusting again. The interior floor was rhino lined to avoid rust ever again as well. All new body bushing, shocks, gas tank, lines etc. Steering stabilizer was just added for over steer. Motor was rebuilt when I bought the truck. Paint looks nice but does have a few flaws. Does not have heat or AC but.......its a Jeep. Basically new 31" Mickey Thompson tires. Its is a manual 3 speed. All wiring has been upgraded to modern 12 volt with chip fuses. & block. Here are few things that have been completed in the past few months. GM 1 wire alternator, Starter, battery, exhaust, underglow & grill lighting, new carpet & insulation,Marine CD player, 4 Marine 6.5 speakers, 1 10" marine grade subwoofer and amp, new front and rear seats, water resistant console, new dash clock, light bar, headlights, fog lights, all corner lights, steering stabilizer, glove box, bikini top & rear toneau, all new door gaskets and window gaskets, LED tail lights, LED reverse lights, shift knobs & boots, arm rests, door glass, window tint, polished aluminum thermostat housing, thermostat, wing window gaskets, voltage regulator, grant steering wheel, wipers, engine dress up, new valve covers, gaskets and studs, chrome fan shroud etc............................ You get the point. Has 2.5 in flowmaster exhaust with 4 in stainless tips starting from the edlebrock headers. (sounds mean) Holly Double pumper carb. No smoke what so ever. Im sure there is alot that I am forgetting but I really dont drive it anymore so my loss is your gain. Please feel free to ask questions. There is NO warranty implied in any way shape or form. On Jan-19-13 at 17:17:01 PST, seller added the following information: Due to a few questions, the truck does have a full top. I have added a older side photo of truck with it on and also with the stock tail lights (which go with the truck). Also, I have recieved alot of questions about the body and paint. The body is straight with no rust. The paint does have knicks here and there and also has a few bubbles in the paint that would shouw up on pictures. With a new paint job, it would be a show truck in my opinion but obviously my sale price has more than accounted for that. As it sits, the paint is nice and is shiny green metalic. (have the paint codes and touch up pain too). I encourage people to ask alot of questions. The reserve price is only a fraction of what I have into the truck but like I said, my loss is your gain. If you are a serious buyer and want the truck, make me an offer, the worst thing that can happen is I decline. I will assist with the shipping but the buyer is responsible for the costs of shipping. OH yeah, I have alot of spare parts as well, even an AC compressor for the motor. On Jan-20-13 at 11:33:25 PST, seller added the following information: Added new pics of the back seat and subwoofer. Also with the windows rolled up. On Jan-23-13 at 09:27:12 PST, seller added the following information: In an effort for full disclosure. I noticed this morning that there was a small oil spot on the driveway, So today the Jeep is getting a new oil pump, new oil pan gasket and fuel pump. oh and ofcourse an oil change. I will NOT sell a car with problems. The leaks are soley due to the fact that the truck really doesnt get driven that much and the gaskets weekend and have not caused any mechanical issues what so ever. I will get the truck back tomorrow afternoon prior to the auction ending and will have documentation to show that these issues have been settled by a professional mechanic. (the only mechanic I have let work on the jeep). Also, I do have a local offer on the truck that is for $10,200.00 but I will let the auction finish since you all have been bidding on it prior to the offer to be fair but if the bidding does not exceed the existing offer at least 2 hours prior to the auctions end (1:30 Eastern time), I will remove the jeep from E-bay. Again, I am just trying to be honest and not mislead anyone. Again, please let me know if there are any questions.
