Up for auction is a 1985 Pininfarina Azzura Spider, 7 of 84 is the production date. I have personally owned the car for the last 5 years, I have gone through the car and was going to finish restoring it but lost interest due to lifestyle change. THE GOOD. Freshly rebuilt engine, approximately 6000 miles on it, new clutch, new tires with less than 6000 miles on them, new shocks, and some new suspension. The car was only driven during the summer months, car runs and handles very well, I have taken it on many long trips with her. THE BAD. The body: There are several rust spots around the vehicle, I have started some of the body repair but haven't had time to finish them, the floor boards are solid, no rust, there is one piece on the drivers side in the front underneath the door(a cross piece) that is rusted through but not the floor, I was told this is a very easy fix from a body repair shop. There is some surface rust under the car, no rotting and a lot of it is the old undercoating peeling away. I have taken some pictures of the underneath of the car so please look and let me know if you have any questions. I took the car out for a ride last weekend and discovered that the rear section of the exhaust had split and started leaking which I will fix upon sale and also will replace battery as it is in need of change as well.
