This is a 1973 Suzuki TS 185 Motorcycle, I picked up this motorcycle in thinking of doing a restoration of this type vintage bike, well too many projects and not enough time, I bought this bike from the grandson of the original owner, I was going to polish up and wash up but want you to see what you are getting and not cover up any problems.( Barn Find Look) Will need carburator work, it is missing the air mixture screw I beleive this is linked to difficult starting and not able to idle well, just not sure.( I dont have good skill for 2 stroke stuff) does shift thru the gears and drives well, front and rear brakes work. This would make a very good parts bike or restoration project, Millage is belived to be accurate at 2900 miles, Used bike and looks like a 40 year old bike, see pictures. Bad news 1. No Title, ( My Bill of sale,) 2. No Keys 3. Does not keep idle, only runs with heavy throttle, 4. No owners manual 5. no Tool kit. 6. Sprockets looking worn. 7. Diffacult to start with kick starter, have to push to get going. 8. Paint showing age top of tank fading 9. Clutch lever end tip handle broke,(Clutch does Function) Good News. 1. Looks complete 2. has good spark and compression, Kick start feels good compression. 3. Paint is original 4. Chrome will clean up nice, small rust 5. Speedometer works 6. Tach works 7. Tires have good tread. dont show wheather checking, 8. Gas Tank not rusty inside. 9. Seat no tears 10. No Fender Damage 11. Tank no dents 12. Side cover good 13. Exhaust cover chrome nice. Good Luck.
