Vehicle Detail
This is a perfect Gasser Starter kit if there ever was one. This body has already been media blasted, there is not going to be any surprises as far as what needs to be patched or fixed. You have a complete 1957 2 door post body on it's original frame with a matching valid Florida title. The whole setup is sitting on a small boat trailer to make it easy to move around in your shop or yard. There is no glass, trim, bumpers, steering clomun, etc.. You do have the fenders and hood, which I will add better pictures later, the rear trunk lid, full body, allot of the front inner panels, radiator support, etc, there is most ofthe front suspiension along with later model disc brakes. The overall condition is good for what this is, the rust is mostly surface rust from being left outside for a few months during it's transition from one storage facility to another. But the chassis seems very solid. From what i can see, when these "new" reproduction bodires are going for $11K, why not spend WAY LESS than that for a original body. I reserve the right to end this auction early due to being listed locally as well. LET'S MAKE A DEAL!! I will gladly work with you and your shipper, but i will not deliver this car. I will make sure that the car is ready to be shipped on open or enclosed trailer by letting the boat trailer go with the car for ease in shipping. On Jan-13-13 at 13:36:58 PST, seller added the following information: I have added pictures of the two front fenders and the hood. just because everybody kept asking what they looked like, so here you go.On Jan-18-13 at 09:35:57 PST, seller added the following information: I have added some more pictures focused on the trunk area, one of the pictures shows a small hole in the drivers side portion of the trunk right in ther seam between the fender and the trunk pan, thats about the worst i could see. But again, its really up to you folks, the bidders. I have dropped my reserve and the buy it now as low as I plan on going, i'll let the auction run it's course from here.
