1968 ELEANOR SHELBY GT500Up for sale is a 1968 Mustang fastback that is a Eleanor replica from the movie Gone in 60 seconds. Here is your chance to own one of the most popular Mustangs of all time!Body: This is an original 1968 mustang fastback that is a r code california car and has never had any rust repair. The high quality eleanor body kit is made of handlaid fiberglass cloth and not the cheaper mat or chopgun. It has been seamlessly molded to the car and fits very nice. the tail lights have been converted to the correct 1967 shelby tail lights and bezels. Gas cap remains in the stock location and is a pop open style. All marker lights, door handles, and the cowl vent have been removed. Both doors and trunk are remotely operated by a key fob. Door glass has been converted to power windows with switches located in center console. Paint on the car is a Satin Black feather fill g2 primer. Drivetrain:The engine is a 351w roller block bored .040 to 358 cubic inches. I has aluminum heads with 225cc runners and 2.05 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves. the came is a x303 ford roller with roller rockers that have a stud girdle. A dual plane professional products polished intake manifold sits under a Holley 700 cfm double pumper carburator. The engine is cooled by a aluminum cross flow radiation with an electric fan. the alternator has been converted to a chevy 100 amp one wire unit. Distributor is a aftermarket hei unit for the small block ford. Makes approximately 400hp. The transmission is a Tremec 3550 5 speed with 3.55 gears in the rearend. The exhaust is Headman headers with 2 1/2" mandrel tubing to flowmaster 40 series mufflers that end right before the rear end.Interior:The interior is in fair shape. The dash pad is in great shape and has the brushed stainless dash. Has a aftermarket center console and racing bucket seats with 4 point harness. The rear seat is a fold down unit which is in good shape and has a nitrous bottle mounted on top which gets the car a lot of attention. the interior could use a freshening up as the carpet is faded and the lower dash and doors have a little overspray. The rear trap door is also missing as well. The Column has two smal holes drilled in it where a tach was mounted and could be reinstalled to hide the holes. There is no radio and the turn signals and heater do not work. was planning on getting a ididit column and a vintage air a/c unit for the car eventually which i can purchase and install for the buyer if it is wanted. The battery has been relocated to the trunk and the car has a aftermarket new wiring harness installed in it.Suspension & Brakes:The brakes are 4 wheel disc. The fronts are a upgraded granada unit with drilled and slotted 11" rotors and the rears are slotted rotors. The wheels are Coys and measure 18x9 and 17x8. The suspension has lowering springs front and rear with upgraded front sway bar and a added rear sway bar. There is also a shock tower brace tower brace and traction bars. The shocks are KYB's Overall the car is in good shape and doesn't have more that 10,000 miles since the transformation. The body is very straight and look mean and nasty the satin black but could be finished and painted the Eleanor signature colors fairly cheap and be valued in excess of $100,000 once completed. The car does have power brakes and power steering. The car is not 100% as it was a car i planned on completing but we are trying to buy a house so that is the only reason we are selling otherwise we would keep it. It does have some leaks but nothing that couldn't be fixed fairly easily.
