1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Police Package A rare police packaged 1987 LTD Crown Victoria with the 5.8L 351Cu. In. V8 engine. These boxiest of the box bodies have become extremely rare to find with police packages, let alone in as nice of condition as this. Odometer is in kilometers and shows 175,988 km (109,353 miles). Front split bench seat, carpet flooring. Body and undercarriage are in extremely good condition for their age and do not appear to have seen much, if any, salt or other corrosives during its life. Several NOS exterior pieces. The original cracked and aged rubber window channel molding was replaced with a much more rubbery OEM set I located. Sand beige exterior paint is very good overall with only a few blemishes and chips. New tires, battery, and belts. Had the local carburetor shop replace the original design-flawed Variable Venturi carburetor with a different Motorcraft carburetor that was compatible with the engine. Quirks: AC blows but is not chilled. Chip in windshield. It's had a small oil drip while parked in the garage for as long as I've owned it, but I never cared to fix it because it never got worse. It never dripped enough oil to compromise the appropriate level in the engine. A piece of cardboard underneath was all it's ever needed. Selling to make room for an upcoming project.(In response to several questions, yes, the grille is incorrect for a 1987. I replaced the original with a NOS earlier grille I had because it was in better condition than the one originally on the car.)
