You are bidding on a 1967 Chevy El Camino Custom Malibu. It is equipped with a rebuilt Chevy 350( code CGC )which is a 1971 block rated @ 270 HP. It has a Holley 4 barrel 600 double-pumper carb and Edlebrock intake. Chrome valve covers, air cleaner, and radiator cap. It is backed by a rebuilt 2 speed Powerglide transmission. It has new brakes with a dual master cylinder. Also aluminumized dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and stainless steel tips. It has been converted to manual steering but I have the power steering pump and pulley to put it back to power steering. It has Goodyear 235/60/R15 tires up front and 255/70/R15 tires in the rear with 75% tread. The rims are rallye with good chrome center caps and beauty rings that shine nice. There are new air shocks in the rear and new front shocks. The rearend has new seals which is a 3.08. The interior has been redone with a split bench and new door panels, carpet, digital radio direct fit with ipod hookup, tachometer, and volt,oil pressure,and temp guage. Everything works, the clock, wipers, dome light, all exterior and interior lights, gas guage, speedo, and blinkers. There are two new 6x9 speakers behind the seat and one new speaker under the dash. The weatherstripping is newer and theres very little wind noise. All the glass is good with no leaks. The car was originally white outside and tan inside. The exterior has been painted Marina blue. It is a base and clear coat. There is some orange peel and a couple chips that have been touched up but still looks nice from 5 feet away. The rear bumper is orginal and has some pitting but still shines nice and front bumper is new. The body side mouldings and front grille show nice but have a couple very small dings. This is a malibu custom so it would have been a 283 powerglide car but its still a V8. The malibu also gave you the chrome accent on the dash, body mouldings, V8 flag emblems, woodgrain on dash, rallye wheels, and the black inset on the tailgate. It has a vinyl snap tonneau cover and rubber bed mat. This is a very nice car, shows nice and gets up and goes when you push the petal. There is no frame rot just surface rust. Floorpans are solid. The front and especialy the rear wheel lips which are usaully bad are great. The rust you see under there in the pics is just surface rust.
