1966 Ford Mustang!!! Here is an absolutely beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang that is a solid rust free Arizona car!!! This gorgeous Mustang is presented in its rare factory correct (trim tag matching) Emberglow Metallic paint with an Emberglow interior and A/C!!!. This car has only been repainted once in its life and looks to be an accident free Mustang! This car has had 10s of thousands of dollars poured into it, with its new gorgeous paint, new interior, new rubber, all new chrome and trim, new control arms, ball joints and bushings, new tires on pony wheels and even a new windshield. This is a factory 289 car and is a solid rust free Mustang. The car drives beautifully and is really a lot of fun to drive. This car has plenty of power, and that great classic pony car look!!! Click to enlarge Exterior: This Mustang looks great finished in a factory correct shade of Emberglow Metallic complete with Black GT accent stripe and all appropriate GT decor. This is a rare color combo and it does match the trim tag on the door. The car was recently painted and it looks great! The paint has a very "deep" look and has a great shine since it was a Basecoat/Clear coat paint job. When the car was painted, it was done properly. The car was dismantled and painted... not a simple "tape and shoot" kind of paint job. The windshield was removed and a new windshield was put in. All of the rubber seals are brand new and fresh. All of the trim around the front and rear windows are new as well. The car was also treated to all new chrome bumpers, over riders, lights, lenses, door handles, badges and emblems. The undercarriage of this car is nice and retains its original floor pans. I really love the way the white letter tires, GT stripe and contrasting chrome look with the beautiful paint. The exterior is really set off by the GT look with functioning grill lights and great looking "trumpet" exhaust exiting through the rear valance. This is a car that you could bring to a local car show and show it with pride, or you could go on great long weekend drives in. Overall the exterior is in great shape. Click to enlarge Interior: The classic parchment interior of this Mustang is ALL new and in excellent condition. The front and rear seats brand new and in and in excellent shape. They are free of stains and tears. The carpet is new as well and free of stains etc... The headliner and door panels are also new and finish the car beautifully. The dash pad was also replaced and is in perfect condition. The steering wheel is also brand new and feels great in your hands. The cars radio is the original radio that is currently not hooked up to any speakers. A modern radio could be added in the glove box to retain the classic look. All of the cars windows wind up and down with ease. They have all been gone through and cleaned, greased and rollers replaced. The window felts have also been done so the windows do not rattle in their tracks. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and is a great place to waste the weekend away. Click to enlarge Engine: The 289ci V8 fires right up and runs like a top. The car blows no smoke on start up or while driving. The engine was rebuilt in the last couple years and runs great. The engine doesnt leak oil and the engine bay is really clean and presentable. The engine has been dressed up with chrome valve covers and a "Hi-Po" air cleaner. The transmission shift beautifully and goes through all the gears beautifully. There is NO guesswork with this shifter, the shift action is very precise. The engine sounds great with its "flow master" dual exhaust finished with the classic "trumpeted" exhaust tips that come in the GT package. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizonas hot and dry climate. The heater is currently not hooked up as they are not really needed in AZ. This should be a very easy job to fix. The A/C should just need a belt and a recharge to be operational. All lights, turn signals, interior lights, and gauges are in great working order. The car has also been treated to a brand NEW set of BFG White Letter tires which give the car plenty of modern traction while retaining that classic muscle car look. The steering can often be a low point on a classic Mustang, but this car has had the entire front end gone through with new bushings, ball joints, and control arms. This is a great car you can enjoy driving every day without worrying about the car leaving you stranded. This is a very reliable car.
