Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is my 1977 Ford Thunderbird 2 Door Hardtop. This vehicle runs and drives great. I drive it to work a couple of days a week and it is an eye catcher at the Wednesday night cruise in here in my home town. I have owned this car for about 10 months and I'm looking for something older. Although I love this car, it is too new for me. As best I can tell it has 96,300 original miles. It has been freshly painted its original color in February of last year. It has all the power options including power steering, brakes, windows, door locks, seats, and auto trunk release. It has AC but it needs to be charged. Some other features include Tachometer, cruise control, trip odometer, after market Sony AM/FM CD player, and rear window deicer. It also includes deluxe sports wheels, raised white letter tires, and dual exhaust. I purchased this vehicle here in North Carolina and I believe it has always been a southern car. There is no rust or rot from bumper to bumper except for one quarter size area on the hood which looks like a bubble flaw in the paint. It has a few small dings which were not removed before painting. The vinyl on the roof needs a good deep cleaning. There are two small slits in the vinyl on the driver side windshield post that have been repaired with silicone but they are noticable. The motor does not burn any oil but it does drip a few drops when you park it. I have kept a close watch on the oil level. The seats have no rips and show only normal wear. When the car sits for a few days one rear wheel locks when the brake is applied but then its fine after hitting the brake one time. Brakes may need to be bled. Just this week the turn signals stopped working. I will look into that this week and try to fix but I needed to mention that. I have tried to think of all good and bad issues on this car. Its a nice driving car and I have enjoyed it, and hopefully the next owner will put some care into her and it will last for many more years to come. I would not be afraid to drive this car to any location in the USA. Please feel free to ask questions via email or you can call me at 919-353-9582. Pick up or shipping of this vehicle is the responsibilty of the buyer. Thanks for looking.
