I take the vehicle and get it ready to auction off by having it cleaned and some repairs as necessary to make the vehicle sellable. I am in no way a certified mechanic, so I depend on others for repairs. I do know enough about vehicles that I can look at and drive one and give a good, honest assessment of it, so that I can pass it on to you. With that being said, I will describe the vehicle and it's condition to you in a fair and honest manner for you to make a decision on. As always, I encourage you that if you can, to come and take a look at, and lot drive the vehicle so that you can make your own decision. With that, here is a description of the vehicle.1995 Chevrolet Astro Van - Raised Roof - with Kustom Kreations Conversion PackageThis vehicle is in very good shape for the year and mileage. The running gear seems to be in good condition. The V6 engine runs smooth, no funny engine noise, and idles smoothly. The transmission seems to shift smooth as well. Brakes seem to stop the vehicle well with no shakes, shimmies, or squealing. There has been no visible exhaust smoke coming from the vehicle. The vehicle rides very smoothly. Tires on the front appear to be fairly new with maybe 2000 miles on them. The rear tires are pretty worn and would need to be replaced fairly soon. The interior of the vehicle, again, looks very good for the age of vehicle. None of the seats are torn or badly stained, Carpet cleaned up fairly good with minimal stains remaining. One portion of the headliner in one corner is split, but should be easily repaired without affecting the integrity of the remaining headliner. Wood trim throughout the van looks some worn, but could easily be sanded and cleared for a like new finish. Rear seat lets down into a bed with the push of a button. The van is set up with 4 captain chairs also. There is also a small TV, disc changer, and DVD/VCR player installed. However, I just tried to turn them on and could not get the TV to come on....but I may not know what I'm doing. The ceiling has mini mood lights that all work as they should. The interior as a whole looks very good to be almost 18 years old. I wouldn't be ashamed to use it myself.The exterior of the vehicle is probably the weakest part of the vehicle. And this is only because of a lot of the clear coat coming off on the roof, quite a few door ding scratches on the drivers side, and a few scrapes on the running boards on both sides. But all the body panels are straight and appear to have never been in any kind of trouble or had any additional paintwork other than the customizing procedures. The van has a very good appearance. Some of the pictures I have provided give it a very good appearance from the day it come from the detailer, and some of the others were a few days later. The outside door handle on the passenger door won't open the door, but it will open from the inside. Not sure what that is. And there are other little minor things that are common for an 18 year old vehicle.
