This has been my wife's car for 3+ years. We are the second owners. It has a clean Autocheck and/or Carfax. It has never been in accident or had any kind of paintwork. Please check out my feedback as I have sold many cars on eBay without a single complaint. I am no longer in the retail car business as I now manage a car auction in Tampa Florida. This has been a great car and we are selling it because several weeks ago we had a Silver 2001 SLK 320 with 180,000 miles on it come thru the auction and I bought that one for her. It is in excellent shape mechanically with no issues or leaks of any kind. The A/C and Heater work great. The CD player and Ipod hookup work great but the right front speaker crackles intermittently. The drivers window works fine but it does not make the auto adjust down when you close the door so you just have to use the power window switch to lower it 1/4 inch so that window is in proper position. It cost $250 to fix it. It has been this way for over a year. Please review all the pictures as I have attempted to show pics of all flaws inside and outside. There are no scratches in the paint and there are NO door dings or dents on the car. There are some rock chips in the paint that i have shown in the pictures and some wear along the leading edge of the top. Some of the chips have some light surface rust that can easily be buffed off and touched up. There is some wear on the leading edge of the top that I have shown in the pictures. This a rust free Florida car that has been here in Pinellas county it's entire life. Please see the picture of the underneath taken from the rear of the car. The front tires are worn more than the rear and it is always that way with these cars as the tires front to rear are different sizes and you can't rotate them. Just in front of the power mirror switch you will see a small crack in the console that I repaired with Gorilla Glue and it is holding just fine. Also, please note that the coin holder on the left is extented out and open. We leave it out as when you push it back in it drops just below the console about 1/8 inches and won't open back up unless you lift it up over the console. It doesn't get in the way of any functions. I have ALL the keys including two remotes but the remotes quit working approx 8 months ago so we just use the keys. The top and headliner are in excellent condition and I had all the cylinders redone with all new seals approx 1.5 years ago. Please understand that this car is in great shape and needs absolutely nothing at all to be driven and enjoyed for years except two front tires later this year depending how much you drive. Most of these items I am mentioning are barely noticeable but I have always strived to accurately describe any and all items that are less than 100%. My wife is a Speech Language Pathologist in a local public school that is 3.5 miles from home and only puts approx 4,000 miles a year on a car or less(her commute is only 1260 miles a year). The lady who was the original owner bought it new and had ALL services including purchasing tires done at Lokey Mercedes in Clearwater Florida. If you want to verify this you can Call Lokery Mercedes at 727-530-1661 and just ask to speak to a service advisor. I have serviced it regularly since we owned it and it has never broken down once. The only two road trips we took in it was one to Orlando and one to Naples. I have a Prius company car now so we use that all the time. Thanks for your interest and your time and consideration.
