1939 Cadillac Model 6127 Opera Coupe. Body by Fisher. Very rare HPOF (Historic Preservation of Original Features) car! This car is absolutely the right car for the discriminating collector who values originality and preservation over restoration. Known history since new, I am the third owner of this car. The body color is Franconia Beige and it is simply stunning. The car has been re-painted once (original color re-spray). The engine has been rebuilt at some point in time. Otherwise, the car has simply been maintained and treasured its entire life. The seat upholstery is original. Carpets have recently been replaced with correct wool carpeting. Door panels have also been renewed recently. All of the chrome is 100% original and is in absolutely great condition. This car is a real knock-out and is an absolute hit at any event I have taken to. It has never been shown at an AACA Meet so it is a prime vehicle to be shown and to receive HPOF recognition. Known history since new, we also have original documentation from Cadillac confirming the original specifications. Mileage indicated on the Odometer is “20,264”. Documentation supports actual mileage being 120,264 (1,625 miles per year). Recent service includes rebuilt fuel pump and carburetor. This car is turn-key ready for a cross country trip. Please note that the fuel gauge is not accurate – it only registers between full and quarter tank.
