Vehicle Detail

Please read all of the add. I have decided to sell the Cuda. I am NOT a professional shop. I will try to describe the car as honestly as I can. I have been working on cars since I was 14 and am sick of it. I have a lot of money in this car. This is a real 70 Cuda. factory 383 4 speed with 83/4 rear end. B5 blue with black interior, non rallye gauges. The original motor is gone and I had a bunch of left over parts "I've had 46 challengers and Cuda's over the years." Body: This car came from Southern California. At one time someone wrecked the right fender and replaced the grill and fender and hood. The right frame rail has a very small bulge in it, nothing bad though. The right inner fender has some wrinkles in it in front of the shock tower, nothing bad. I did not replace the inner fender since I was just making a driver car. This car had a 22 inch radiator originally. Someone towed this car and bent the original radiator support metal. I cut out the 22 inch stuff and replaced it with 26 inch radiator flanges since it gets so hot in Texas. I didn't know it at the time but I miss measured the left side of the raidiator support and was off 1/4 inch. To do this car right I would remove left fender and cut off radiator support move it 1/4 inch towards front and reweld it so the hood pins would line up evenly. "my mistake" The floors pans were rust free. The trunk pan had a hole in it and i replaced it. Both quarters were full of small sea shells and sand. i figured the east Texas humidity would cause the quarters to rust out so I replaced both quarters with AMD panels. The tail panel had 1 small hold on the bottom of the right side but no other rust on it. Engine; the original 383 is gone. I had the stuff so I used a 67 C 440 block, steel crank turned .010rods, .010 mains, 6 pack rods, 6 pack balancer, 3 bolt 6 pack cam shaft"Mopar performance", 906 heads with hardened valve seats, high volume oil pump, 402 oil pan transmission: I have the original 4 speed that goes with the car, however I had a 1970 hemi 4 speed that looked new on the inside so i used it. I installed a new clutch , pressure plate and throwout bearing. It is an 18 spline hemi 4 speed with an original pistor grip shifter. rear end; originally it was an 8 3/4. I had a dana 60 with 354 gears so I used it. I had a shop install new pinion seal and verify it is in good shape. I put this car on a rotisserie and basically all of the hard to do work is complete. Under side was painted B5 blue, front end completely rebuilt, new front to rear stainless fuel lines and emergency brake cables installed. new dash pad, I installed rallye gauge from a 71 conv. i dont know if the gauges work or not. new carpet, new legendary seat covers still in the box. ne winshield sitting in car. This car does not run. It has been sitting in my barn 1 year and is very dirty. it will need tinkered with to get it running and driving. No grease was installed in trans or rearend yet. This car is not perfect but is a nice builder car. call 903-962-7214 or cell 903-288-2342 Clear texas title in my name, I have fender tag, no build sheet N42 R11 V1X V6X Y16 L31 M21 M25 N31 N38 N41 V1X A01 C16 c55 J45 J54 E35 H6X9 000 316 170617 E63 D21 BS23 NOE xxxxxx Shaker: It is a reproduction hood. I paid over 4k for the hood and shaker kit. It comes with 6 pack cast iron intake and carbs, 6 pack shaker base plate, adaptor ring , hot and cold air doors etc..'whatever was in the kit" Paint: It is single stage acrylid enamel. My paint booth sucks.I got some dust and minor stuff in the paint. To look very nice i would color sand the car and repaint it in a real paint booth. The hood needs adjusted better to properly close it. I think I have most of the parts to complete this car. I know I have the window moldings, bumpers, etc.. It does need the exhaust system on it. I do have the door panels, seats, side marker lights etc...On Dec-30-12 at 18:19:03 PST, seller added the following information: If you hit the buy it now price. You can have every Mopar part that i have. I have a lot of parts. This does not include my wifes 68 Charger RT or any 68 charger parts or Charger parts car.
