Hi and thanks for looking. This is a 1991 Volvo 740 2.3 Liter Non Turbo. This is my aunt's car which she drove daily to work until she retired about four years ago. Her commute was about 4 miles one way and she never went much of anywhere other than work and the grocery store. The car has a few scrapes and dents on the driver's and has some paint fade on the hood, roof and trunk. The car has a decent leather interior that has some drying and a tear in the driver's seat you can see in the picture but most everything else looks ok. The miles on the odometer seem to be original. You can see the reading in the picture so you be the judge if this is the actual mileage. Seems to be right to me judging by as little as she drove this car. The car has been sitting for about 3 years and has not been driven much. The problem with the car is she hasn't driven the car in about 3 years and the it sat more than it was driven during that time. The car does run and drive although a little rough. We have replaced the Mass Air Flow Sensor, the gauges, plugs, wires, and distributor trying to get the car to smooth out. A mechanic looked at the car and decided the fuel pump wasn't producing enough pressure to give the engine the gas it needed to run at driving speed and that it needed replacing. We have spent several hundred dollars on the car already, including the parts just mentioned and also another set of tires, and don't want spend anymore on the car. The fuel pump is a Regina style fuel pump and more than likely the last part that needs replacing to have the car running smooth. The car has always been dependable and ran well until it wasn't driven for about three years. This car needs just a little work and would make great first car or a commuter for someone needing a car to drive. The starting bid has increased slightly due to listing fees.
