For sale is my 1958 EDSEL Corsair four door. Has power steering. I have had this car for a few years but I need to let it go to someone who has more time and expertise with these cars than I do. There is no rot or rust on the car other than easily cured surface rust. The tires are all bad and would need replacement. All wheel cylinders and the master cylinder were replaced a few years ago but have not seen any use as the drums and shoes are shot. She goes well but has a stopping issue. I have two new front drums; new front shoes (from RockAuto.com); new bearings and seals (again RockAuto.com) and they go with the car. The E475 engine runs strong but I think it would be even better if it had a basic tune up. Plugs, wires, cap & rotor also replaced awhile back. On a 1 to 10, overall, I would give the car a strong 6 or 7. Of course my rating is sort of partial. Data plate info has a bit of difference from title here is the data plate info: x8Sx709628 ;57A HHF B 27J 4A, odometer reading: 77,884. Buyer pays all shipping costs to get the car to them. I will not accept payment by PayPal as the fees are expensive. Will accept wire transfer or cashier's check for payment. Please make full payment within 5 days of the auction's end. Once payment is cleared arrangements can be made for shipment and the CA title will be sent directly to buyer via Federal Express.
