I purchased the Bike in 87. It had been sitting for 7 yrs. The bike has 5 speed Trans., Dual Point Distributor w/ a Stator degree wheel allowing it to be timed with a light. It has the large Amal Dual Carbs. The the Carbs have been re- bored and sleeved the slides do not stick. Dunlop Conical Rear Hub. and a front Disc brake. Its all Stock and Oringinal with a 10 over piston . I have whats left of the front fender and turn signals in a box with other goodies like extra points. I stopped riding the bike several yrs ago. I have kept it undercover and canvased. I put the bike away running. I uncovered the bike 12 /4 /12 took a Picture and sprayed it down with more WD40. I noticed corrosion in the Gas Tank ,the Front Wheel is Dragging on the Disc a bit( nt much) The carb intake Boots are tore and some rust on the handlebars. I loved riding the Bike and maintained it well. The actual mileage is unknown the Smith gear driven Speedometer / odometer was not maintained. The bike will turn over but I have refrained from doing this much wanting to bring the bike back to life properly. Currently the bike is in need of refurbishing restoration TLC and a new life.
