This is my 1985 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel. She has 225K miles and runs like a dream. While she isn’t a show car she doesn’t look too bad! I put new tires on her around 1500 miles ago. The transmission shifts smooth. The interior has normal wear on the driver’s seat and passenger seat front…the rear is nice. The sun roof and windows all work. I was going to convert it to run on waste oil but I lost interest. There are two rust spots one in front of the driver side front tire and one behind the rear tire same side. Pics show it all... The climate control is a little screwy…it only offers the defrost and side vents. My mechanic checked the vacuum and said it was fine…he believes it’s the control unit itself. The heat works fine…the AC does NOT. It needs a new compressor. The radio antenna doesnt work automatically...I just do it manually. Overall the car runs real well and is a good daily driver.
