Here is your chance to own a nice piece of History. Available for drive as is or restoration a 1959 Scottsman by Studebaker. It runs good, drives good, and with a little tweeking could be made a daily driver. The truck has been painted. The box has been changed to an identical box from a 1962 pickup. The body is quite solid in the vulnerable area is shown in the pictures. This truck has the Big 6 which makes it a nice driver with plenty of power. The truck is not mine I am only listing it for a friend. New York does not issue titles for vehicles older than 1971 so this truck has a clear registuration transfer that will be recognized by your state. Here are some additions that are answeres to questions already asked. The box is a 6 foot bed and the truck is 112 inch wheel base. The truck has not been previously restored except for paint. The truck will be in my yard Tomorrow 12/20/2012. I will take more pictures and post them. I will include the data plate information. The truck does not have overdrive. It is a standard 3 speed column shift. I do have an overdrive transmission that can be purchased seperately if wanted. To my knowlege the truck has no real rust problems but will find out. Front and rear shackle bushings, Clutch disk, release bearing,water pump, differential pinion seal, trans rear seal, gear shift lever gromets, points,condenser, cap, rotor and wires, pilot bushing, speedometer head, universal joints, exhaust pipe, fuel pump, starter drive, engine gaskets and seals, installed when engine was chnged, left and right cab mounts, oil pressure sending unit, used temp gage, gas tank sending unit, used seat bench and back, left front fender. The Terms are $500 Pay-pal deposit non returnable with in 48 hours. The remainder in cash at the time of delivery which should be complete with in 7 days.
