1959 MGA Coupe I bought this vehicle 5yrs ago in great condition from North Carolina and have driven it probably less that 1000 miles in that time. I used to live in town and the car was garaged but I now live off grid, 4 miles up a dirt road and this car is not getting the TLC it deserves. Once I decided to sell the car, I had the engine shipped to Coventry Motors in Phoenix, Arizona where it was rebuilt. I have 2 photographic albums showing the original rebuild on this car from chassis up, prior to my purchase along with original receipts for work done. When I had it shipped to me from North Carolina it had a black license plate # 59 FHC (fixed head coupe) which I will add in the sale with the photo albums. It is registered thru August 2013 and ready to go. The head liner has a couple of mice holes (see photos). It also has a small paint chip by the passenger side door (see photo). The car drives well and when she's polished up she continues to turn heads and start conversations. I'm really sorry to let her go but she needs someone who will drive her regularly and keep nicely garaged. All work has been done by professionals - you won't be disappointed. Engine rebuild cost $3000 and it has been driven 220 miles since then. Starts and runs like a dream. The car experienced a complete overhaul about 15 years ago. We have a photo album that documents the rebuild. All photos have been taken in the last 10 days.
