Truck drives like a dream, sounds really nice, responds fast, has great stability and control. This truck is so on the ground that it feels just like you are driving a dually. The transmission shifts so smooth you won't even notice it's shifting. No leaks, no smoke. The Performance exhaust is a nice touch on the tuck, makes it sound like if the motor was tuned for racing. If you never had a big exhaust, you will see the difference and never go back to the stock one. Comes equipped with Ford Trailer Brake Control and B&W Turnover gooseneck hitch so you know this truck has the power and is ready to haul anything. To top everything off, this truck is extremely economic. We are getting about 18 mpg on highway @65mph. But it all depends on how you drive. Proper oil change and tire pressure also play a big role on fuel consumption, so good maintenance is key to any truck. This truck is very easy to maintain and the 6.0 is the best motor Ford has on the market. It combines the best features of all the motors from the last decade - it's fast like the 6.4, but reliable and easy to work on like the 7.3. Forget about the new motors like the 6.7. The new emissions is nothing but headache and money out of your pocket. EXTERIOR The exterior paint is in nice condition. Few small scratches here and there from normal wear. We install the OEM 20" rims. Tires are in excellent condition. Underneath truck looks very clean. We also updated the tailgate for the newer model that has the Super Duty engraved. This is a fine looking truck! INTERIOR Truck is clean and overall excellent condition. Leather on seats are in great condition. Carpet is also clean and damage free. All power windows, door locks, power mirrors work. AC blows super cold. CD player works fine. WHAT WE DID We got if from the auction with a blown motor. Title say 270k miles. We installed motor, transmission, suspension, springs, computers and cluster out of a truck that had 80k miles on and we wanted the speedometer to reflect the actual mileage on the motor, no fraud intended. We already put 10k miles on this truck. We hauled a 50' racing trailer a few times and it pulled like it had nothing. I can tell you for sure this truck won't give u a hard time. Prior to installing the engine, the motor was revised, it got all brand new seals from the Ford dealer, new headgasket, update on pump, and an EGR bypass/delete kit. This truck was fixed right, using either brand new or quality used OEM Ford parts only. We are confident on the truck we have, and if we don't sell it, we just keep it for a while and have no problems driving it.
