Hello and welcome to the auction! Up for bids is a stunning all original 1968 Ford MUSTANG convertible. It is in impeccable condition and completely rust FREE! This car was very well taken care of since day one. I am the second owner of the car. It only has 56,000 original miles. Certified by the DMV. Always stored in an enclosed garage and free of the elements. It is a very Early '68 Model built and sold in late 1967. It has the rare "Heater Delete" spec, only sold in Miami, southern California, and Hawaii Markets. It is very nice extra for collectors as the only other ones such equipped were Carol Shelby models. Comes with electric power top in perfect condition and professionally installed. Tight in all the right places. Factory GT rims all around with nearly new tires. It has gone through a recent very minor restoration, needed only to be freshened up. New chrome and trim all around. It is in such excellent condition that more would have been unecessary. A very desirable car. Mechanicals: It retains its original 289 V8 engine with 2V carburetor. Equipped with a 3 speed automatic transmission working perfectly. This Mustang starts at the first turn of the key with all mechanics and electrics in perfect working order. It has power steering and power assisted brakes, all working perfectly. Brakes and Hydraulics: The brakes were recently serviced with brand new brake master cylinder and assist servo (booster for power brakes). The hydraulic power steering is leak free and working perfectly. Suspension is nice and tight with 4 new hydraulic shock absorbers. Body and Interior: The body is extremely straight and completely rust free, in and out. It is painted the original Ford Wimbledon White, a very attractive color for this Mustang. The interior looks all original. Original Red vinyl seats with white piping. Another rare original option that can not be found new. Brand new carpeting and door panels as well as all new chrome on the dash. It is equipped with a rare dealer installed Ford luggage rack on the trunk. A nice touch to the style of the car. The top is nearly brand new and perfectly installed. Brand new chrome trim and badges all around. The wheels are factory spec GT style rims with nearly new tires.
