Up for bids is a 1947 Chrysler coupe convertible. This project started as 1947 coupe by my uncle. It was turned into a convertible, the Chrysler chassis was removed and replaced with a 1987 Lincoln Continental chassisRear end, suspension, disk brakes and power steering are all from standard Lincoln/Ford.Most of the hard body work is complete. the rear fenders were flared out 3" on each side.The entire floorboard was replaced and is in perfect condition. There is a lot of extra sheet metal in the car that came from a donor car.Seats included with the car are BMW 635CSI seats and fit very nicely in the rear. Due to health conditions my uncle is no longer able to finish the project. And begged us not to sell it. He has put a great deal time and energy on this project. The car is sold as is, where is. A bill of sale will be included at the end of purchase. Please ask questions before bidding. What you see in the pictures is what you get. the right rear tire is just on for display and will NOT be sold with the auction.
