I have owned this beautiful and rare RUST-FREE 1986 Jeep J20 pickup twice. I bought it the first time in 1996 when it had just 3,000 miles on it. The original owner had planned to buy an Airstream and travel around the country, but his plans changed. He garaged the truck and rarely drove it, storing it in the most immaculate shop I've ever seen. I owned it for a couple of years and then sold it when I moved to Hawaii. When I returned three years ago I searched for the truck and repurchased it. Now we have moved into town and no longer need a truck. This Jeep is in excellent condition with less only 56,874 ORIGINAL MILES. It has a new radiator, 16" wheels and tires, and dual exhaust. Otherwise, everything is original, including the paint (I had the cab top and hood repainted a couple of years ago to get rid of rock chips. The paint matched perfectly. The truck is rust-free except for a small strip of surface rust on the rear bumper that I have treated. This truck runs like new and is built for towing. The front axel is a Dana 44 with 3.73 gears. The rear axel is a Dana 60 with the same gears. The transfer case is a 208 AM. The truck was serviced on 11/30/12. One photo shows the original AMC side molding which has now been removed. I also removed the large rear view mirrors that are good for towing. I still have those mirrors and the holes in the doors for remounting the mirrors have simply been filled with rubber plugs to make reinstalling the mirrors easy. (One mirror is missing the glass portion. Both are rust-free.) Bid with confidence--this 4WD J20 will not disappoint and will hold its value. It is very unusual to find a rust-free Jeep J20 pickup in such nice condition.
