Vehicle Detail
Up for sale I have 2 1955 Buick Specials- 4 doors The first Buick Special is red and black in color and has a 322 nailhead from a 1956 with Dynaflow transmission of the same year. Interior is good, but motor needs to be hooked up to get running. No Radiator or battery. This car has some rusting around the windows, but the body panels are in good shape. The interior on this vehicle is very good and the better interior of the two cars. The chrome needs work and the trim is in decent shape. 4 door no door posts. Proof of ownership from RMV The second car is black and white in color and is in the better shape of the two. 4 door with door posts. This car has been garaged for a very long time so there is very little rust on the vehicle. I believe it has the 264 V8 in it. This car does not run but should with very little work done to it. The interior is ok, but will need some work. I was going to combine the two cars and use the motor from one and swap out interiors, but both are worth fixing up. The second car (black and white one) has no title but is in good shape. This car just needs a battery, some spark plugs, and the carb cleaned to get it running again is my guess. I am selling these as a package, but would entertain splitting them up for the right price. I will remove the ad once these cars sell so no need to ask if they are still available. Cars are sold as is for parts or as a project Feel free to email me if you have any questions,On Dec-02-12 at 11:16:46 PST, seller added the following information: Up for sale I have 2 1955 Buick Specials- 4 doorsUpdated! Due to interest in the pair of cars I have posted more pictures for you and added additional comments to description. The first Buick Special is red and black in color and has a 322 nailhead from a 1956 with Dynaflow transmission of the same year. The previous owner told me the 322 was rebuilt before he got the car and had it running on the motor stand. Interior is good, but motor needs to be hooked up to get running. No Radiator or battery. This car has some rusting around the windows, but the body panels are solid. side windows need to be replaced but rear and front glass are good. The interior on this vehicle is nice for the year and looks original. Headliner is red and in ok shape too. This interior in my opinion is the better interior of the two cars. The chrome needs work and the trim is in decent shape. 4 door no door posts. I have a title for this car that will be signed over to winning bidder. The better of the two cars is the second car which is black and white in color. 4 door with door posts. This car has been garaged for a very long time for many years before I got it and during the entire time I have had the vehicle, so there is very little rust on the vehicle. I believe it has the 264 V8 in it. The body is in good shape there is a little surface rust on the roof, minor issue. The rear drivers side quarter has a a little rusting and is the only panel that needs further attention. See pics. Rocker panels are in ok shape as with the age of the car but have some rusting. Chrome is pitted and the front and rear bumpers have some rust as well. The previous owner put new brake lines and cables for battery. There are some new parts in the trunk including extra hub caps with the sale. Trunk is in very good shape and has the spare tire. This car is not currently running but should with very little work done to it. The interior is ok, and so are the floors. For this car I can give you a Bill of sale. no title. I was going to combine the two cars and use the 322 motor from one and swap out interiors, but both are worth fixing up. The second car (black and white one) has no title but is in good shape. This was the car I think is the better of the two. This black/white car just needs a battery, new spark plugs and cables, and perhaps the carb cleaned to get it running again is my guess. I am selling these as a package so you get both cars for one price. Low low reserve. Cars are sold as is for parts or as a projectFeel free to email me if you have any questions,
