AUCTION ENDS SUNDAY EVENING, DECEMBER 9th This is an incredibly clean 1997 Ford F-350 with the legendary 7.3 Power Stroke Diesel engine. This is an extremely tight and solid truck that hasnt ever been used as a truck. The engine is very strong and doesnt smoke, doesnt leak, and doesnt have any blow-by. The transmission shifts perfect. As you can tell from all the pictures, the whole truck has been extremely well cared for since new. There hasnt ever been a gooseneck or fifth wheel hitch installed. The truck came with the factory towing package with heavy duty rear step bumper and trailer plug, but the only thing this truck ever towed was a small motorcycle trailer hauling a Harley. No programmer or performance modifications at all - everything is totally factory stock. Youll see about 20 MPG on the highway at 60 MPH. The suspension has been lowered slightly using a very complete kit that was professionally installed. No corners were cut and because of the high quality components used to lower the suspension slightly, this truck actually rides and drives better than it did when stock. These trucks tend to have a disconnected "floating" feel at highway speeds with their stock suspension, but this truck drives very tight and smooth. Since a high quality kit was used, the factory towing and payload capacities are unchanged. This truck has only had one owner since new. The original owners widow just traded it in at a local Ford dealership to get herself a new car. I have the original title to the truck showing that the original owner bought it from the Ford dealer in Arlington with 35 miles on it, and the truck lived in Arlington all its life. The original owner (Mr. Jerry) passed away in 2010 and his widow didnt feel comfortable driving such a big truck, but it took her 2 years to come to terms with letting it go. Mr Jerry was a great man - very active in the local church and spent all his spare time riding his Harley. He had the wheelchair lift and lowered suspension installed several years ago because Mr Jerry had a disability that made it very hard for him to walk, and he wouldnt let go of his truck and preferred to outfit it with whatever it took to help him get in and out of it. The whole system works great, although if the buyer didnt have a use for the wheelchair lift and hand control for the brake, it wouldnt be hard at all to remove those items and just have a super nice truck. The wheelchair lift system works flawlessly. All the controls for the lift system are on the "B pillar" right next to the drivers seat. Flip a switch and the whole fiberglass Leer topper opens up to the side. Flip another switch and the lift raises up and swings around to the side of the truck. Flip another switch and the hooks for the wheelchair lower down. Very slick system thats easy and quick to use. It all works great. If the buyer just wants a super nice truck and doesnt have a use for the handicap system, Im sure you could sell the system for quite a bit. The interior is in near immaculate condition. There arent any cracks in the dash and all the leather looks good. Everything works great. The A/C is cold and the Heat is hot. The Regency conversion package which Mr Jerry ordered this truck with really makes it extremely comfortable. The exterior is just as nice. All the paint is original except for a small spot that was touched up at some point on the passenger front fender, but its hard to find. Since this has been a locally owned Texas truck since new, theres not one bit of rust anywhere on it - top side or bottom side. In fact, you could nearly eat off the undercarriage its so clean. There is a little paint fade on the top of the drivers side dually fender, but its not bad. Overall the paint really looks quite good and shines excellent. No previous accidents or fender benders. Truck looks great. High quality forged aluminum Weld wheels with nearly new all terrain tires. This truck is ready to be driven anywhere you want to take it. If youve looked at other trucks and been disappointed, this is your truck. It impresses on every level.
