Selling my father-in-laws old truck. He purchased it new and kept up on all the maintenance, but almost never washed it. Selling for health reasons as he stopped driving the truck over a year ago. Different family members would borrow it from time to time and my kid was driving it from Akron to Wooster and back weekly for school. No problems. The truck can be driven anywhere. Here's the good: The motor runs smooth and as strong as a 2.2 liter 4 cylinder can run and the transmission shifts as it should. The brakes were recently done including some new lines, calipers, rotors and pads as needed. The pedal is nice and firm. Never smoked in. No funky smells or noises. No warning lights lit. Followed by the bad: The truck is rusty everywhere. There is a bad spot on the frame right next to the cat. Not so bad that the frame is in imminent danger of breaking. I believe that it is still repairable, or just drive it 'till it breaks and transplant the drive-train. There is a slight exhaust leak somewhere. It's a little loud but not so much that you would have to worry about a ticket for a loud exhaust. Has air but it needs charged. Radio doesn't even light up. No clue why. Drivers door drops a bit but shuts all the way with a little extra effort. Mileage may increase between now and the time of sale. I drive it to the parts/hardware store when I need to haul something. Paypal is for deposit only. Cash due when the truck is picked up. Deposit due within 48 hours of auction end and full payment is due within 10 days of auction end. I can hold the truck beyond that if arrangements are made before your bid is placed.
