Vehicle Detail
Ok what we have here is a 1965 Mustang Convertible w/power top and clear title. This is a very solid car, let me say first that this is not a numbers matching car, For serious buyers i will give the vin number out, This was an original V-8 convertible, automatic, bucket seats, and 2BBL carb. when I got ahold of this car it was a basket case. The floor pans have been replace with a thicker metal grade, all the sheet metal in this car is from better then good to great. The quarter panels have been replaced professionally(not your typical patch panel but the whole shabang) inner and outer wheel wells are in excellent shape, the doors are new after market, not one bit of rust, the fenders are factory ford restamp. (450.00 a piece). The tires have less then 1,000 miles, on them, the motor has less than 8,000 miles, the paint is less then 2 1/2 years old(base coat clear coat, the stripe that you see is painted on, not a sticker.) If the car makes it up to the buy it now, or an offer that exceeds 19k I will also throw in 1. a 1955 9in edsel rear end with the drums and axels, a 4.11 limited slip hog head third member(posi unit), that will work great for this car. 2. still have the original bucket seats, (blue seats with no tears) 3. a original 65 mustang brake power booster. (it may need to be rebuilt) The interior is in good condition, it is showing a little wear for its age, The 289 is from a 68 mustang, it has been bored .30 over, the heads have all screw in studs and guide plates with roller rockers. This does have a 68-69 era aluminum Ford intake.(it is basically the same as a cobra/shelby intake, only difference is that it says ford). This does have the after market aluminum cobra valve covers. This does have a mild cam with flowmaster exhaust, the Carb is a Barry Grant 625 cfm dual line vacuum secondary, with a K&N air filter. This car has a very desirable 4 speed Toploader with Hurst shifter linkage. This car does not have power steering or power brakes. What ever pictures you need to see I will personally take and send to you. frame rails, torque boxes, rocker panels, in which they are all in great shape. When car was rebuilt 4 years ago the upper and lower control arms were replaced as well as the ball joints, radiator, heater core battery plate box, rear springs, brakes, shocks, door/trunk trunk seals, new bumbers, new taillight bezels with lenses. MSD Electronic ignition with rev limiter. This car was restored 5 years ago, had a few issues but worked out all the bugs. You can call me on my cell as long as it is past 12noon eastern standard time not b4(502-640-5797). My email address is danielgish2005@yahoo.com what ever pictures that are not shown call me and i will take more, like if you wanted to see the inside of the rocker panel. I will answer all question to the best of my ability. This vechile is an excellent daily driver if you like a car that is all manual. I know this car has no emblems or extra chrome pieces due to the fact is I hate drilling through perfectly great sheet metal, when you wash this car, nothing hangs up on the rags, it is a very smooth wash.On Nov-30-12 at 06:40:04 PST, seller added the following information: Make me a reasonable offer.
