This car was the fastest production car in the world when it was released to the US in 1996. This is a rare car and it is estimated less than 2500 were brought to the US. My car is currently my daily driver and I have put over 15,000 miles on this car. Before my purchase I had a PPI and reviewed carfax which showed a clerical error in the mileage. I can show the car fax statement indicating this error. The turbos were reported to have been replaced before my purchase and the leak-down test indicated that all cylinders had a less than 6% leak. The car has not been wrecked and has its original paintwork. All of the service work has been performed by Boardwalk Porsche and my technician has been John Gladwell. I have shown this car at a couple of auto shows (including the Cooper Autos in the Park Show and the All European Carshow at Whiterock) and I am a member of PCA. I am planning to sell my car because the birth of my third child has reduced the utility of my 2+2. Cosmetically- The car has some stone chips and small chips on the door edges. The paint retains an excellent shine. There is a slight wear area on the driver's seat. Otherwise the leather is in excellent condition and this car has the full leather interior including the dash, doors, and seats. Mechanically- The car is in perfect working order. It has had all of the recent services including oil changes, routine maintenance, brake flush and passed inspection in November of this year. The tires are approximately a year old and are in good condition (Im using Bridgestone Pole Position SO-4). The car is garaged. The car has not been smoked in and no pets ride in it. All of the lights, controls,etc work. Sound system- I have a custom stereo (Kenwood KIV-BT901) which perfectly matches the interior lighting and provides bluetooth phone connectivity, ipod connectivity, sirius satellite radio, Pandora and has a remote. This is paired with a Focal (class A/B) amplifier, super premium Focal separates in the doors and a Kenwood subwoofer in a custom enclosure. The subwoofer is removable to keep the OEM look intact. Alarm- The car has a immobilizer and an alarm for insurance purposes. Radar Dectector- The car has a Escort 8500i with GPS and front and rear laser detectors and this is completely integrated leaving no exposed wires and a clean OEM look. All of these modifications above can readily be reverted back to OEM if you wanted to make this a show car instead of a daily driver.
