This is an original 1979 Porsche 911SC sunroof coupe EURO model. This car has a beautiful color combination of dark green metallic/tan interior. The interior has the very cool original factory checkered plaid. The car is a great running driver. Mechanically it runs like a beast. It idles great. Runs very smooth and delivers tremendous power. These Euro models are a WORLD of difference in power and performance measures. I never put much attention how a Euro model differentiates itself from the US cars, but after enjoying this car, I can say that these cars are much more powerful and enjoyable to drive. The look is much better and refined too. The original European headlights (which is how these cars were designed) and the original small rear bumpers, instead of the massive rubber “bricks” that the U.S. car had just add to why these Euro cars are more desirable. The car shifts like butter and brakes very well and straight. The clutch is great. So mechanically overall the car is excellent! Structurally, it does have some rust on the lower door jams that will need to be addressed. There are also rust bubble areas on the door and panels. Otherwise, the underneath of the car is surprisingly solid and straight. The paint is very tired. It has lots of blemishes and flaws throughout, but again this is an excellent driver and not a show car. I have a free and clear title.
