Here is my 1981 DeLorean. For those of you, "I guess everyone here" who know about these cars, you already know how unique and special they really are. I bought this car just over 3 years ago from the first owner to use as a weekend toy. I have used the car very little. The car has been kept indoors, by both of us. This car is in good original condition. The steel still shines nice, the body is straight, There is a small crease behind the drivers rear quarter, otherwise, the car looks really good. The interior is original and also in very good condition. There is one crack in the dash. This is an early production car. The wheels are dark gray. Later models had light silver wheels. The interior is black, later models has a light gray interior. The drivetrain is strong. All the fluids are clean. The original stereo still works. The power windows only work when they feel like it which is not often. The passenger window does not stay up so it's held up with a little wedge. The fan blower works, the heat works and I guess the air would work with a new belt. Overall, this is a nice original DeLorean in need of some TLC from not being used much. It won several first place awards at the local car shows. I really love this car. I planned on keeping it for good. However, I am building a new house so the money would go toward the house. I can also send photos from under the car as well. I do have a large shop manual for the car and the original DeLorean spare tire and rim are still in the car.
