going to sell two more - this one and a 57 ford fairlane - this is a nice running 6 cylinder - it's got 79k miles - it is not a show car - it runs great - you can leave it running in the driveway for 1 hour and it still only gets up to 175 degrees. body is very solid - paint looks good - has one scratch between the drivers door and the rear quarter - it can be seen in the picture underneath is very solid - see all the pictures - truck is very solid - see picture top has no rips - it's a power top - back window looks a little weird - but there are no water leaks - they did a lousy job gluing the plastic - tried to show it in the pictures interior is going to need the tlc - the seats have no rips - it's missing a radio - there is nothing wrong with the interior except it just seems ratty to me - an example is it has the three way swich - oil pressure, vols and temperature - it just sits there - needs to be screwed up to the dash - steering wheel is missing the center cap - lots of little things in there that should be done to make it seem nice in there the inside of the doors were painted black to make it look better - well to me whoever did it years ago did a bad job anyway it's a nice entry level firebird convertible for cheap money - it's a no reserve auction - not looking for crazy money - good car for cheap money - i have to say i would not switch the 6 out to an 8 as the 6 runs great any questions just ask had a few questions about data plate and matching #s - it should be a matching # car - can't verify it, but according to the vin and data plate is is a factory 6. data plate reads 821 02D 67-22667 lor 2060 - lor means loring plant in ohio - 2060 means # produced 259-Z N-2 - 259 means black vinyl strato seats - z means buckets with no headrests - N-2 is special order color burgundy - it's now red - you can see the original color in the door jams WD 2WGS - don't know what this means - i just googled all this - what i did learn is this is a very low production # car - either the 3855 or 2060 off the line
