There are a lot of things going on with this car. Some things are pretty minor, but some are quite serious. Here are known issues: • The CVT transmission has failed. The transmission won't shift beyond first gear. My mechanic quoted around $7000 for a rebuilt transmission, but I believe a new one will one you closer to $10,000. • Something is going on with the front passenger side of the axle. It creaks badly in cold weather. My mechanic told me that I had cracked control arm bushings and the repairs was around $2000. • There are two leaking power steering hoses. • There is a leak in the coolant system. • There is an air hose in the engine that has developed a crack (see picture.) • The wheels and tires are in pretty good shape, but there is some minor curb rash and the MINI insignia has fallen off two of the wheels. • The body panels are in decent shape except for a crease in the back passenger side panel and two dents in the back drivers side panel. There are also some dents near the rear driver's side taillight, and some scratches on the back bumper. (See pictures). • I used this for carrying lighting gear for work pretty frequently, and this resulted in a number of scuffs in the interior plastic, mostly in the rear of the car. (Check out the backs of the seats in the pictures.) • The upholstery on the driver's side seat is heavily worn. (See pictures.) • The airbag malfunction light is on. • The speaker grate on the front driver's side is cracked. • The door still locks but the little plastic lock at the top of the passenger side door panel is stuck in the down position. I believe repairing it it's simply a matter of removing the door panel and reengaging the lock. • Brake pads recently replaced, but it probably needs new front rotors. • Air filter is dirty. • Scuffs and wear on the interior of the driver's side door. There are 120,781 miles on the odometer I had listed this album previously however the buyer failed to pay. The car does start and drive, but due to the failed transmission, you will have to arrange for a tow. The car is located in my neighborhood about two miles from downtown Atlanta.
