Vehicle Detail

I have had tons of fun with this car. Had aspirations of rebuilding and turning it into a track car but just bought a 79 T/A so I'm letting this one go. Estimated mileage 108k (odometer quit working about four years ago at 102,117 and I've kept a short radius with the car living a mile from my job). The interior is UNBELIEVABLY CLEAN. Apart from the broken odometer and oil pressure gauge and two small cracks in the dash (I have a carpeted dash cover over it) the instrument panel is like brand new. Has working post-factory CD player and rear speakers. The A/C rumbles a little but blows cold air. The last time I drove it (about a year ago) the 305 V8 ( Tuned port injection with automatic transmission) still had plenty of power. In order to run again it needs a new steering column (steering wheel lock is busted, preventing the key from turning in the cylinder to start the car) and could use new tires and a few minor things like new hydraulics to hold the hood and rear hatch open and a new headlight motor. Will need motor mounts in the not too distant future. Power locks do not work, power windows do. Suspension is worn but works. This car needs a little love but could be in great running order with very little work. Recent radiator, alternator, and mass air intake sensor. My friends have always been impressed with the condition of the paint which is a rare color (Maaco from the previous owner. Flaking a little in places like around the intake vents on the hood and cracking on the spoiler, but a quick wash will reveal a great shine all over most of the body.)On Oct-26-12 at 09:08:59 PDT, seller added the following information: Please note that the pictures of the body were taken a over a year ago. The car has been sitting outside my home collecting dust and debris and needs a thorough detailing to look like it does in the photos.
