For sale is a real 138 SS 396 Chevelle. This car was originally blue with a blue interior. I am not a Chevy guy but here is what I know: There is no motor or trans. I believe the car was originally an automatic. It has a 12 bolt rear end with posi. There is very little rust but there is some repair needed. I would replace the two quarters as they have some rust in front and behind the wheel openings (see pics). There is also some rust pin holes in the driver floor pan and in the center of the trunk. Thats all the rust I found......not much at all. The frame is very solid as are the front fenders. The front end was rebuilt by the previous owner. As you can see in the pictures, I have a ton of parts. Most of the parts are OEM. Everything you see is included.......what's not there I don't have. The previous owner is looking for the the other seats but bid as though they are not included. If i get them, you will get them. Some of the more notable parts are: 2 steering columns (one tilt, one fixed), 2 consoles (one auto, one manual), pedals for both auto and manual, some original BB exhaust manifolds and a complete Wilwood disk brake setup for the front and rear. You may see some parts that are out of place, I'm a Ford guy and did my best to piece it all together. The title on the car is clear, but this car was issued a new Maryland vin for some reason. The previous owner did this because the vin tag was removed.....it's something I don't understand because you can piece the vin together from the Fisher body tag which is still intact. You can always get a new title with the original vin if it bothers you. The spare 12 bolt sitting on the frame isn't part of the sale. It will be offered to the winning bidder for additional money, as will a bunch of other parts not shown. This car is for sale as is, where is. I will consider delivering it within 100 miles of 20882 for 1.00/mile round trip. I am very busy so this won't happen immediately and the car needs to be paid in full prior to delivery. If you want to come get it we can transfer it from my trailer pretty easily. If you want to ship it, plan accordingly.....it does roll easy but has no brakes. I can put the parts in it, but take no responsibility for damage. This is a great project car and isn't a rust bucket. It should be put back together....it just needs a good home!
