Up for sale is a 1996 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 Police Prep. I will be highlighting this suv through three main paragraphs. They are the Exterior,Interior and lastly the Drivetrain. If I happen to leave something out please use the information listed at the end of this ad to contact me. Exterior: This Jeep was bought new for the Cleveland,Tn Police department. They ordered this suv in Black. The police department then added the white color. Overall the rust free paint/body still has a good hard shine and show well. There is no major dents or major scratching anywhere. There is however some small hale damage on the hood and roof. I tried to get them to show up in the pictures. They are easily overlooked. There is one small patch of clear flaking(it is pictured). The match set of Mastercraft tires on this suv are all 50% tread or better. I will rate the exterior at a fair 8.5 on a 1-10 scale. Interior: Light gray cloth interior was ordered for the inside of this Cherokee. The interior has held up nicely due to Mature Adult operation. The seats still sit nice and are clean. The dash is nice and crack free. The carpet has held up well. There is one hole in the headliner and some sagging (pictured). The heat will sweat you out and the air condition will freeze you. The factory radio plays as it should. All power options perform as they should. I will rate the interior at a 9.5 on a 1-10 scale. Drivetrain: This suv was ordered with the strong 4.0L 6 cylinder engine and Automatic transmission. The engine runs great still. It has plenty of power and has no warning lights on during operation of vehicle. The Automatic transmission performs just as it should. The 4 wheel drive engages smoothly and works great. The only thing to kick it for is the rear shocks sometimes rattle slighlty on bumpy roads. I would trust it to drive to California and back. I will rate the drivetrain at a 8.5 on a 1-10 scale. In Closing: This Jeep turns heads everywhere it goes. I hope the pics speak for themselves. It's a great vehicle looking for a new home. I have a clean 1 owner title in hand.
