Vehicle Detail

1980 Pontiac Trans Am. Running 350 Chevy engine, 4 Barrel Holley carburator, New exhaust from the collectors back, All lights work, good tires on snow flake wheels, T-tops, Transmission changes smoothly, and a nice interior. 176000 miles on the odometer. The Trans Am was origionally a turbo 301. This would make a great project car (which was my plan untill my baby son came along). To make this car beautiful it needs an engine tune up, Repair a brake line leak under the front, adjust the passenger door latch to make it close properly, new weather seals around T-tops, and a little body work with a paint job. Title in hand. The trans am will have to be towed due to the brake leak. At the end of this auction the winning buyer must have a deposit of $500.00 USD, which is NON-REFUNDABLE, transferred into the sellers Paypal account within 48 hours of the auctions close. Full payment required within 7 days of auction close, which must be a certified check from your financial institution or cash. Pick up of the car is the responsibility of the buyer. Seller is willing to ship car but at the buyers cost and buyer is to arrange.Once full payment is received and funds are cleared pick up will be granted. The car is being advertised locally and i reserve the right to end the auction early. Any questions or if you would like to see more pics please contact me and I will get back to you in a timely manner.THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!!!On Nov-05-12 at 14:33:32 PST, seller added the following information: Answers to some questions i recieved: The underside of the car is really nice no rust issues there, the car has been sitting in my driveway covered for 6 months, i was driving it on weekends untill it sprung the brake leak and i havent had time to fix it. i purchased the car about 2 years ago(before my son was born) and the owner said he had just rebuilt the engine and tranny. The engine oil and tranny fluid are super clean. The T-tops leak so the weather stripping does need to be replaced but its been covered so its been staying dry.The passenger door latch needs "tweeking" to make the door stay closed properly. All in all its a great project car for its price and with a bit of TLC it will be worth quite alot more. the floors look great and pretty much rust free, has newish interior carpet too. The trunk is rust free but needs 2 small patches (looks like the guy before me cut out 2 holes, dont know why) body is nice for the majority, does need some attention to make it super nice! The heat does work, i just went to check it. fuel guage works, volt meter works, tachometer and speedometer work, oil pressure and temperature do not. The only fluid leak is from the brake line i mentioned.
