The body is in fair condition, especially considering the age. It has some rust starting over the rear fenders, as well as some more rust here and there. It's nothing too bad for Wisconsin. This truck has never given me any problems in the year that I've had it, until some recent suspension issues that I just found. I noticed that the ride quality was suddenly less comfortable, and I found that the front driver's side spring tower and one of the struts were broken. The spring and the second strut on that side (it has two per front tire) are still intact and working, and the passenger side is fine. I also noticed that the rear passenger leaf spring bracket is rusting out and needs to be replaced soon. While I was under there, I also noticed that the brake lines are getting rusty, although the brakes do work great and have given me no problems. I would suggest replacing them, regardless. Recently, I noticed that there is a small hole in the bottom of the right exhaust manifold. I bought this truck because I wanted to restore it, and the limited amount of body rust made it look like an ideal candidate. I just don't anticipate having the resources to do that anymore, since I decided to go back to school. I still drive this every other day or so, so it does drive fine. I just don't use it to tow anything because of the suspension issues. The truck does run great, has extensive service records, and has had the oil changed regularly.
