For sale is a very clean, drop dead gorgeous 1974 Suzuki GT250 street bike. It’s a complete OEM bike, with just a few exceptions. It’s powered by a twin cylinder, oil injected, two-stroke engine with twin carbs and dual exhaust. It run fabulously and starts immediately. Oil pump and carbs have been adjusted to factory specifications. Engine tune and exhaust output is spot on and smokes appropriately. Engine is smooth, powerful with no oil leaks. This GT250 comes with a new correct seat cover with SUZUKI print on the rear, all factory equipment i.e: air box, baffles, battery anchor, etc.. Points and condensers have been checked, cleaned and the points felt pad has been oiled. All cables have been adjusted and lubricated and work as they should. Headlight, taillight, turn signals and all idiot lights are all original OEM and function perfectly. Again, no after market turn signals or lenses. Gauges are clean, functional and have clear lenses. The chrome exhaust is in very good shape with a good shine. Some minor battery acid stains mid section on left pipe but otherwise less than average wear on the exhaust for a 40 year old motorcycle. The other chrome fenders, tail light, rims, etc., shines well with only minor pitting on the backside of the front fender (pictured). Both front and rear rims are true, straight and shine as if they were new with only minor pitting on the rear rim. Gas tank interior is clean and is in very good condition with no leaks. Due to sun damage the tank was professionally repainted with period correct color for a beautiful MAGENTA finish and factory striping, there is a slight imperfection (run) in the paint at the rear of the tank where the seat meets the tank.. The side covers are excellent original color and match the tank color beautifully. I have clear title with key for this beautiful 1974 GT250. Remember, this is a 40-year-old motorcycle and though not perfect it is in GREAT condition. the pictures tell the story of how clean and precise this bike is to being original.
