1986 1/2 SUZUKI SAMURAI JX This is a great little vehicle for around town and off road adventures. As far as I know it is completely stock and has not been molested in any way mechanically. It is currently titled and registered and used as a daily driver. Passed Utah state safety inspection with no problem. Good tires and brakes. Clean interior with no cracks on the dash. Seats were redone and are in great shape. Stock mirrors were replaced with larger ones and they work much better. Back seat and all seat belts are intact and working.Top is okay and has had a few repairs but keeps the rain and dust out fine. It has a few dings here and the stickers on the side are cracking so a paint job would be in order down the road. Doesn't bother me so I just left it as is. The mileage is most likely 125,000 but I could be wrong about that. I purchased it from the original owner in Cedar City and he just used it around there for it's entire life. The two problems to mention is a minor dent in the rear door done when unloading it off the trailer. The spare tire got shoved back a little so there is a little gap when the door is shut. Probably could be pulled back out but it latches fine so I just left it as is. Also on start up the choke sticks so it revs a little high until it warms up and then it is fine. Probably could use a carb adjustment or maybe rebuilt. It drives around here just fine so with some minor repairs or adjustments your good to go. Four wheel drive engages and works fine as well. I would love to keep it but we just purchased a Sidekick and the wife and kids like the smoother ride and comfort of that over the Sammy. What a bummer.On Oct-31-12 at 11:37:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I had a couple questions and I wanted to clarify a little. The back door is only slightly pushed in and not really noticeable. The latch works fine and the door shuts securely. All the snaps and zippers work fine on the top and it is waterproof.The paint is in decent shape but the stripes on the side are cracking. I has the original stock engine and the Sammy has not been altered or butchered in any way. It has not seen any rough off road use and the suspension and steering are tight.On Nov-01-12 at 09:39:54 PDT, seller added the following information: A couple more questions to answer. The Utah title is CLEAR and in my hands with no lens of any sort. The Sammy passed it's Utah state saftey inspection which is pretty thorough. No emissions tests are required here. The history as I know it is that I purchased it from the original owner. It was registered for a few years under his daughters name and then back to his and then sold to me. No accidents and very little off road use. Mainly towed and then used around camp areas.
