* Will consider Trade for 31'+ Toy Hauler * 1968 Camaro complete frame off Rotisserie Restoration with Matching Numbers 327ci optional 4-bolt 350. All the hard work is done, ready for prep, sanding and paint. Some components still need to be installed. So much was done to this car you have to read the build thread as its just too much to list. Below is a basic summary. Assume almost everything was either reconditioned to like new or replaced with new. Please checkout my build thread for all the details and HUNDREDS of PICTURES!!!! http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=195573 The car was stripped and placed on a Rotisserie The undercarriage was blasted and cleaned The floor panels and trunk were cutout and replaced with new metal The firewall kick portions were cutout and replaced with new metal The upper cowl was cut out and replaced with new metal The rear deck lid around the window was cutout and replaced with new metal The right rear lower quarter was cutout and replaced with new metal The fenders were scrapped and replaced with completely new fenders The undercarriage was preped and painted gloss black (looks amazing) The frame was removed, blasted and powdercoated 80% gloss black The front brakes were upgraded to new disc brakes (slotted/drilled) New Delco Remy booster and master cylinder reservoir installed (with new proportioning valve) New brake lines front to back and side to side New Fuel lines installed, including Russell braided hoses The swaybar was blasted and powdercoated, new bushings The inner/outer tierods were replaced with new rods New Pitman and Idler The rear brake housing was blasted and powdercoated, new brake components were installed The rear differential was removed, refurbished and reinstalled Brand New Eaton Posi unit included with new 3.73 gears and bearing kit ready to be installed (included) The leafs were blasted and painted, new zinc plated shackles and new bushings installed New body mount bushings installed all around New Tubular A-arms installed with new bushings and ball joints New springs installed New Edelbrock shocks installed front and rear Wiper motor was refurbished and installed Heater box was blasted and powdercoated, new heater core and foam installed Gutted the old wires, installed brand new upgraded wiring harness (complete set) New headlights and trim New front grill New battery tray New Aluminum Radiator New Radiator Support New Polished Aluminum Torq Thrust II rims 17x8x235 fronts, 17x9.5x265 rears The seats were torn apart, blasted and refurbished with new foam and vinyl (seat emblems are original) - buckets and rear bench ready to be installed The carpet was removed and a new Carpet set was installed Complete floor HUSHMAT set installed throughout including trunk All old A/C heating vents were removed and replaced with all new vents, tubing and chrome vent balls/trim pieces Window regulators have been blasted and nitrogen sealed - ready for paint The Power Steering pump was blasted and painted (works great), new rag joint installed The matching numbers engine was removed from the car (working) and is ready to be cleaned, rebuilt and reinstalled - engine comes with original starter, exhaust manifolds, intake, carburator, distributor, alternator, brackets and pulleys, including 2 speed powerglide transmission, flexplate, torque converter The car currently has a fresh rebuilt 4 bolt 350 installed with Edelbrock air-gap endurashine intake and 600 CFM carb installed, edelbrock fuel pump, all new polished aluminum pulleys and brackets, new Summit ceramic coated headers, brand new chrome alternator, Streetfire HEI dist, chrome valve covers. The 350 engine was rebuilt bored 30 over. The block was torque plate-honed to 4.030 using a Sunnen CV616 with tolerance up to .0002". The cylinder bore bottom was radius'd The main caps where squared and line-honed using a Sunnen CH100 with tolerance up to .0002". The cam was slightly out by .003, it was ground to within .001 and then moly dry coated. The rods were resized and aligned. The valves were *ground to within .002" run out. The crankshaft was balanced. New KB 193 Hypereutectic D-cup Pistons 0.30 over New Engine Pro MC1993 Camshaft New Hydraulic, stage 4, Dur@50 232/232, Adv Dur 288/288, Lift .480, Lob Sep 106/110, range 2000-5000. New EPW Hydraulic Lifters The engine has never been started and all bolt on components are new except for the starter and heads. ARP bolts were used throughout. Included in this listing is the original 327 with all original parts (intake, carb, exhaust, fuel, alternator, 2 speed powerglide transmission/TQ converter). The 327 was pulled out of the car in working order and stored without being rebuilt, so its best to rebuild it. This auction also includes the freshly rebuilt 350. See above for specs.
