1966 VW Convertible! Listing for sale my '66 rhd vert. Very fun unique car to own. It's a nice cruiser that you can enjoy taking to shows but no trailer queen to nice to drive. A ton of work has been done to this beetle with the right hand drive conversion and suspension The tranny mount has been raised. It has a 6 inch narrowed beam with vintage invader motorcycle wheels on the front and disc brakes on the rear and still stops better than most stock beetles with drums brakes on all four wheels. The car is very low but with transmission raise and the way the front end was built, the car to stilll rides much better than you would expect. Paint looks good but not show quality, interior is new. Runs out and drives great, leaks a little oil like most vw's. I did just return from a 15 hour trip in 2 days with it a couple of weeks ago. Right hand drive conversion was done by previous owner who did a great job. Very solid, pans are great with no rust. Few holes in the front apron but nothing major. Clear title, body is a 66, pan is a 68 with link pan head which i also have title for. Top is just the frame, no headliner or anything, i have the rear glass and a few other pieces for it.
