Vehicle Detail
This NO RESERVE auction is for a 1992 Porsche 968. This vehicle is 1 of 31 Cobalt Blue 968 Coupes, 1 of 5 with Cobalt Blue Exterior and Classic Grey Interior, and 1 of 2 with a Tiptronic Transmission. This 968 is loaded with options, which makes it even more rare. Options Include: Tiptronic TransmissionMetallic PaintPartial LeatherHeated Sport Seats (1 of 153 with sport seats, even less have optional heat)Headlight Washers (1 of 288)17" Cup I Wheels (1 of 311) Also, this car was one of the first 968's sent to America (81st) so it has some unique features like a recessed hood crest and more! This vehicle has been a daily driver for me since I have owned it. I also have a 1995 968 Cabriolet that I drive regularly. This has been a great daily driver that within the past year has been on a 1500+ mile trip with no issues. Mechanically, everything works. Power windows/locks/heat/mirrors/seats/etc. all are functional. Headlights work and the A/C blows cold. The Tiptronic feature works as it should. Even the Rear Window Wiper works! I have receipts from the past owner of over $8000 within the past 15k miles including: belts, seals and water pump, valve cover gasket, transmission flexplate, transmission ecu, 02 sensor, cap & rotor, fan switch, muffler, brakes, refinished wheels, and more! Wheels are in excellent shape and tires have a fair amount of tread left, but are starting to show their age. The interior of the car is in nice shape. I recently had the dash and door panels re-dyed and a hole fixed in the seat. I added a Sony CD Player with built-in BlueTooth that sounds great. The sport seats really hold you in and are comfortable on long drives. The exterior of the car is original 20 year old Porsche Paint. Porsches from this vintage are notorius for the clear coat fading/peeling and this car is a prime example. The worst spots are on the roof, hood, and right front fender. There are rock chips on the front end and rocker panels, and the passenger door as been touched up in the past. The best option would be a respray, I have priced the car accordingly. This car is still a great daily driver and I get a lot of compliments even with it's original paint. I will also include all service records from the previous owner and $250 in extra Porsche OEM Parts including a new lower grille and 4 rocker molding seals. This car is being sold AS-IS at NO RESERVE. Clear Title in Hand. PLEASE do NOT bid on this car if you do not have the intent to buy it, or if you are from out of the country. Local pickup is preferred, buyer arranges All Shipping. $500 Non Refundable Deposit due within 48 hours of close via PayPal. Balance due within 7 days unless specified prior to sale.
