For sale by owner- 1990 VW cabriolet convertible. It's white, has cream/white seats. Top is rough- holes are patched with duct tape. Does the job, but if it really bothers you you can get a new top on here for not too much. Good tires. A little under 102k original miles on it. Has after-market cd player in it, as well as extra speakers behind back seat. 5 speed manual transmission. Unknown miles on the tranny- was replaced a year and a half ago. Nice little car, great gas mileage. Around 30 MPG. AC needs charged I think, heater works very well- burns you right out of there if you let it! Drives really well! I just never learned to drive stick, so Dad's been using it. But now I need the money due to financial hardship, so I'm forced to sell it. Buyer deals with shipping/pickup/transportation/etc. Cash or cashier's check only. On Oct-22-12 at 15:49:08 PDT, seller added the following information: So after listing the car, I see the report says there is a possible rollback and have heard concerns that this means it's actually 202k miles- that's not what it says on the odometer. There isn't an unseen rollover- it shows the 100k part in full. I'll take a picture of it and add it to the auction. I wasn't aware there was an issue, I was told by our mechanic that it appeared to be the original engine when we switched the transmission. But due to the report, I can't say there *isn't* a past issue/engine change. I'm listing this car to the best of my knowledge, but it is sold as-is, no warranty.
