I have a 1981 Suzuki GS850 G for sale. I bought the bike over 2 years ago with the idea that I would restore it to ride on vintage rides. I love this vintage of bikes but I have so many things on the go I just bit off more then I can chew. It is hard to describe an older bike so please ask questions if I have left anything out. The main issue with the bike - The bike was running perfect when I bought it but after sitting around it has now developed a miss in the motor after it warms up enough that the choke is removed. I am not sure but I think it could be carbs that need servicing but I cannot say for sure. I had the compression check and all cylinders where 125 when the engine was quite cool. It starts up immediately when choked. I thought about parting the bike out but it is a good candidate to be fixed up. It has some dulling on the motor,there are a few chips in the paint and a few light scratches with the only bad scratch being on top of the tail piece as shown in the pictures. Tires have tread left but are older so I would think they will need to be changed, exhaust pipes are fair but there is one rust hole shown in the pictures, tail light lense is broken, the battery is not holding a charge. All the lights and gauges work, the tank is good inside. I though I would sell it cheap or if it does not sell I will part it out. I have a clear Wisconsin title from the person I bought the bike from. The Pictures look better then reality but the bike is in reasonably good condition.
