I have inspected the car and offer the following observations. - All electric windows are fully operational from the door switch or the master switch at the driver's door. - Both front seats are power and they are functional - The wiper switch works - The heating / cooling system seems functional but the AC does not blow cold air - A partial set of maintenance records is included in the background material Bid with confidence. Although the car is 35 years old, it was acquired by the Museum from the original owner. The car has been well maintained and garaged. If there are questions, please contact us through eBay messages. Running Gear The engine runs reasonably well when cold and better when warm. The transmission shifts smoothly and at the appropriate time. The steering is precise, the brakes are sure and even, and the ride is solid. All in all, this is a great example of an old classic. It needs some tender loving care. New Cadillac emblems are included to replace the faded items on the side of the roof. Exterior As shown in the pictures, the paint is very good, consistent with a car that has been garaged regularly. The silver finish is sound on all parts of the body. There is custom pin striping with the business logo of the original owner. There is some slight rust bubbling at the base of the roof below the rear window. This is a known problem area for these cars. The chrome is good and original, with some slight oxidation in the crevices of the bumpers. Interior The interior is also very good. There are no cracks in the dash, door panels or other vinyl material. The seats could be classified as excellent except for a tear in the seat cushion of the passenger side front seat (see photo). The steering wheel is cracked in a few locations. All the original knobs, handles, switches, etc., are there and are working. The 8-track player works and the car comes with a selection of 8-track tapes. The car includes a CB radio that utilizes a special antenna that was installed when the car was new. The tires are fair, the wheels are good. The interior does not have odors like smoke or mold. I believe the owner was a non-smoker. The glass and chrome are good, no hazing in the glass. The chrome is good but not perfect. It is original chrome so there is minor pitting in the creases of the bumper. Bid with confidence.
