This auction is for a very rare 97 Mercedes Benz S600 Coupe which later became the CL600 in 98 to eliminate any confusion between the 4 door and the 2 door models. This car is in good cosmetic condition for a 15 yr old car. It runs and drives very good and everything works, but it does have some mechanical issues that will need repair. It has a oil leak at one of the camshaft seals, and it loses about a quart of oil in about 2-3 months. The ABS/ESP lights are on, I have been told that the one or more of the speed sensors need to be cleaned or replaced. The body is straight and original, it does have a small ding on the top of the drivers side front fender. The interior is in very good condition overall, but the driver's seat bolster has a hole in the leather and has some cracking as well. Also, the wood steering wheel has some cracks in it. The $4000 chrome wheels are made by Ray's Engineering and they are Forged staggered setup. It also has a Lorinser high performance exhaust system. It also has a K40 built in radar detector, which was a very expensive dealer installed option. I realize this car needs some repairs to be perfect, so I will be selling it for a very low price which will more than compensate you for any of the repair costs.
