up for auction: 1992 mitsubishi delica van. 2.5l turbo diesel, a/t o/d, four wheel drive. fully loaded with; front and rear heaters and a/c, power sunroof, power locks and windows, fog lights, push bar, class 2 hitch, rear wiper and defrost, seats seven, right hand driver. consistently gets 27-30 mpg. van has 146,000 kilometers and was safetied two years ago at 130,000K. timing belt changed at 110,000K, rebuilt injection pump, new battery. mechanically excellent. clean, non-smoking interior. bad stuff?there is a piece of broken plastic in the driver seat incline adjustment cover, which i plastic-welded and duct taped so it wouldn't comepletely fall off.a few assorted scuffs and scrapes on the paint which i think have shown up in the pictures the dash switch for the rear gate will only "unlock", but not "lock". you can still lock it from the outside with the key the factory stereo never worked while i had it. i used an old alpine deck, which i am keeping, and i re-installed the original. the factory headlight glass does not have DOT stamped on it, meaning it might need to be replaced with another glass case. check with your local highways restrictions..this is a rare and unusual imported vehicle that turns head wherever you drive. it also make a great, economical daily driver. note: the actual VIN # is p25w0618921 e-bay's vin box requires 17 digits, and this van has only 11, which is also what i had it registered under for the last two years. to buyers: i live 45 minutes north of the manitoba/n.dakota border [at pembina] and would be willing to drive it down and meet you at the border [n.side]
