PRICE LOWERED DUE TO MOTIVATED SELLER!!! THANK YOU!! Due to overwhelming questions on this bike by phone call and text I just want to be very clear about this bike. This is definitly a professional creation. It is not something that was just thrown together. The guys that built it are certified machinists and welders for over 60 years combined experience. ABSOLUTLY ZERO corners were cut on this bike and it is just one of many bikes created. The only reason for sell is to fund the next project. This bike does have a clear PA title included as shown in pic. I don't want to reveal the reserve but have been asked quite a few times. All I can say is cash talks. Also, this bike will be listed locally also and I reserve right to end auction at any time. Thank You!! I am listing this impressive machine for a friend of mine and the ad below is exactly his description. What i can tell you is you will never find another custom CB such as this!! The pictures just dont do this bike justice. I have personally rode this bike and it handles and performs 100%. I attatched a photobucket link of more pics of this bike at bottom of this ad for your viewing. This is a bike I started building around five years ago and finally completed it this summer. Now I've decided to sell. If you love Hondas (new or old), you will love this machine. I actually started with a clean Pennsylvania titled CB650 from 1981. This is exactly what the title states (pictured). I then modified the whole rear of the frame using 4130 Chromoly steel tubing to adapt an aluminum CBR929 swing arm and Showa Monoshock. This of course uses the stock 929 wheel, brakes, sprocket, etc. I then moved to the front of the bike using 6061 billet aluminum . I machined the triple clamp/bar mounts all in one. The forks, wheel, brake components, etc. are all CBR 929 as well. After getting the stance of the bike I wanted, I moved on to the engine. I started to tear down the original 650 engine and found nothing but a mess. I decided to can the original 650 and use a more popular and common SOHC CB750 motor. I purchased a rebuilt engine and changed the motor mounts to fit the 750. There is only somewhere around 200 miles on this new motor!!! Defenitly no more than 300 miles total!! I got the engine mounted and then built the hollow area of the swingarm into my oil tank. Again, using 6061 aluminum I tig welded the tank, it holds a little over two quarts of oil and works great. YES, THE OIL TANK IS RELOCATED TO INSIDE THE SWINGARM!!! I then moved onto the body of the bike. I loved the look of a long sleak tank so I purchased a rare CB1100F tank and tail piece. The seat is 100% handmade. I fabricated a still pan and had a local upholstry shop pad and cover it. After all the modifications and fabrication was complete, the bike was then disasseambled and prepped for paint. The frame as well as all the other black items are powder-coated. It's very hard to see in the pictures but the powdercoat has 8 shades of metallic flake in it. The tank and tail were then sprayed using PPG paint. It is actually a pearl white with the same 8 shades of metallic flake mixed with it. The bike looks unreal in the sun. I then started assembling the machine. Two new tires were mounted, chain, sprockets, battery were all purcahsed new. All the wiring was replaced, I made a simple wiring harness. The bike right now only has a headlight, taillight and brakelight. (No turn signals or gauges). I purchased a completely new Dyna electronic ignition system, including two new Dyna 3 ohm coils as well as new plug wires and boots. I also bought a rebuilt set of Keihen carbs. They were elctro cleaned and jetted to run with an open header and no airbox. The bike looks, sounds and handles incredible. It also has tons of other trick polished aluminum parts....all the foot controls, pegs, front rotor hubs, battery mounts, headlight mounts, handmade megaphone, etc. It also has some cool pinstripes hand painted by "The Paint Chop." A local nationally known painter. The engine starts easy, electric or kick, shifts great, no smoke and runs strong. I could really go on and on but I encourage anybody interested in this bike to PLEASE come view it and test ride before lowballing me offers. Again, these pictures just do not do this bike justice. There is more $ into this bike than the asking "buy it now," when including all the custom machine parts, fabricating, and paint. I do not sell any junk on ebay!! I have sold numerous bikes, atv's, 3 wheelers, and also a few vehicles on ebay. Please note my 100% POSITIVE feedback and if there is ANY problems please contact me and I will resolve the issue. Any questions can be directed to my ebay account from "ask seller a question" tab. I will normally get back to you within 24 hours. Or, you can contact Troy directly by calling or texting 814-254-8188. Please leave a message if no answer and will most likely call you back on home phone. Please feel free to submitting REASONABLE offers. There is a $100 non-refundable deposit so please be certain when you bid. As far as shipping goes I will personally deliver this bike myself to the lower 48 states for a fee. Or I will ship however you want. I do have a commercial dock I can ship from and crate the machine up for a fee. Happy bidding on an unbelievable one of a kind machine!!! Thanks for looking! Photobucket link for more pictures: http://s1074.photobucket.com/albums/w418/jklucik/On Oct-15-12 at 17:55:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Owner contacted me this evening and has located another project. "Buy it now lowered to $6500"!!! Which is way less than invested into this bike.. Also, Reserve has been dropped to $4500!!!!! SO, if the bidding hits $4500 YOU will be the owner of this machine!!!On Oct-16-12 at 18:23:25 PDT, seller added the following information: Update!! This bike is actually in the current November 2012 issue of the motorcycle magazine "The Horse" vol 124 (THEHORSEBC.COM). Although the article is incorrect because it says the bike is a 73'...It's still pretty cool it made a magazine. That was the only show that this bike was ever at actually!! Please click the photobucket link to view new pics. Thanks!!On Oct-17-12 at 12:32:45 PDT, seller added the following information: "Buy it now" lowered to $5500!!! Last price drop before auction ends. This is a unreal deal to own a custom bike with ALOT more invested!!! Happy bidding!!
